Won't start
I Just put a new head on my 90 LS the #1 piston was at top dead center was wondering what the correct Timeing was? or if there is a manual that tells me the correct timeing.

correct timing is 16 degrees plus or minus 2 degrees
you need to have the car started to check it, so are you having trouble starting it?

head to your local auto parts store and pick up a helms or chilton manual an it will have the valve clearances and how to adjust them
pick up a set of feeler guages while youre down there as well
