without the resonator custom piping will make your exhaust sound raspy. definately get one... or ive even seen people get two. mine has one with 2.5" custom piping and it sounds solid.

2.25" mandrel or crushed-bent? Most custom piping are crushed-bent so the 2.25" diameter is not consistent throughout the exhaust.

And if you are wanting a resonator, look at HeelToe Automotive right now. They're having a Magnaflow sale, and you should be able to pick up a resonator for a good price.

I know someone a while back did this and it looked good, not sure about any gains or sound.

But I have a custom mandrel bent 2.25" cat back with an ITR axel back and an 18" resonator, gains are minimal if any, little louder than a stock integra. I love this set up, I can't ever go to anything loud again, like my old N1.
