i want to make a 1/25 version of my teg but need some help
i totalled my teg : ( i came around a turn (not even speeding or anything) hit an ice patch and the passenger side slid out and slammed into a tree. but anyway in memory of the car, i wanna make a 1/25 model version of my car, which is easy, but i had rota auto x wheels. anything i can do about this? or should i just paint the wheels black with a red lip : /

Make some custom ones. Its not that hard did it at school for wood work progject lol.
Start with Pollystiring (stuff that comes in packing boxs) and make it into the shape you want. Then you just need to make a mold of that and melt plastic into the mold and there you have it custom model car wheels.
Or you could probably get a model shop to find you something close.

You just use a dremil with a small cutting piece and a laser point to cut it how you want.
You could use wax aswell thats should be strong enough to make a mold with.
Or if your skilled enough just make the wheels out of clay then put them in a gild to harden them.

Why not just buy one? http://cgi.ebay.com/REVELL-ACURA-INT...18114006r25241
You might be able to find one at Wal-Mart or Toys 'R' Us.
I also use to have a 1/25 diecast one also.
The only thing I got now is a yellow 1/64 ITR made by Modifiers. Still Brand New.

I think he is just looking for the wheels. From what I got out of it, he wants to make an exact replica of his totalled car, and he had aftermarket wheels (which obviously wouldnt come in a standard model car kit)...

You'll be hard-pressed to find scale model wheels of the Rota AutoX (old SSR wheel replicas).
You could always just pick up this model and use the Spoon/Regamaster wheels from it. It won't be exactly the same but they'll be "JDM" wheels.

This is the largest selection of 1/25 aftermarket tires and wheels I've seen. Unfortunately most of them are 20's and up and/or lowrider wheels.

As for bigger scales, like my old nitro R/C. I had some Mugen/JMags rims w/ Yokohama Advan tires.
I heard that they were real Yokohamas also. They cost $30 pair, but I got them on sale for $15.
That's a little expense hobby.
Don't know if it's possible to find any autoX rims, but who knows.
