I Need opinions after this madness....
This is the story..
My girl was driving home after meeting up with me at PCC (pasadena city college). We were driving home and let's just say merging onto the freeway from the on-ramp is kinda difficult, especially for a girl =P *sigh* women.. lol jk She hit an old Mercedes Benz and left a 'shopping cart' dent on his rear bumper and she ripped off the benz's muffler LMAO!!! funky.. but the damage on the TEG was tremendously ridiculous.
So after viewing these pics obviously she needs a hood, fenders, bumper.
I'm really not sure if she needs a radiator support,a new radiator, air filter, a few small hoses n' bolts
So here are Our Options for the car itself...
1. replace everything OEM
2. Go with a little style ie. CF hood, jdm fenders, oem bumper
3. Type R conversion and call it a day
Suggestions on any of the plans or have any better plans or suggestions would help us pretty well..

Type r conversion and can it a day ...i would say you have about 2.5-3.5 (labor included) grand damage there. You might be able be get the conversion but you might have some pull time on the frame

Looks like you need a whole new front end.. my friend has a 98 civic with a little less damage on his right side.. his costes $3000 from honda to fix. they did a great job though.
You need:
Radiator support, front bumper, hood, side panel(s), maybe rad, a/c condenser... ETC...........
Well depending on how much you wanna spend, if you can do a JDM Type R Front end for around the same price, I'd just do that.. but I think the cheapest way would be to put it back to stock. You can pick up most parts needed from ebay or local wreckers, or even people on here getting rid of parts.
If you going for cheapest, go back to OEM look. if price don't matter.. go JDM!!!

i would get an estimate from some shops, then buy the front end parts (from passwordjdm.com or hmotorsonline.com) and just have a shop do the labor with your jdm parts. definitely discuss it with them first so they know your plans.

driving rain, night? freeway? jenna? i don't get it.. good thing she alright. at least in your case its fixable, btw welcome to the krew now ! lol... anyway its all good, only good things come out of a accident "most of the time".. new stuff... JDM ITR front sounds nice to me but no doubt the OEM 96-91 front pretty tyte too..
whatever happens it should be better then what it was

I don't think that's totaled. I rear ended someone and it looked remarkably similar to that. $4500 to fix mine.
Yes, you will need a radiator support.

shopping cart dent only on the benz?
looks like someone stuck dynamite in the corner lens and it split the bumper open.
from the looks of it you can salvage that fender, the hood is gone.
personally i would attempt a 98-01 conversion and just get a carbon hood since its cheaper than getting an oem one and repainting it.
your radiator support twisted, so its a good idea to get a new one.
radiator SHOULD be fine, inspect for leaks.
air filter, take a look once you get it un crunched.
as far as the hoses, you shouldnt need anything.
id say about 2,750.

i work for a body shop it doesnt look to have frame damage. it needs a core support. i would do they typeR conversion. but w/ labor be preparred to pay a little out of pocket on top of your deductible. good luck
try spw for the conversion they have all OEM honda parts and they fit great!
