Default HELP!!! My car Shakes when I press on the gas

Help everyone, my car shakes when i press on the gas, but only when im on the gas.

I can feel the stick shift shake also as well as the steering wheel. as i press on the gas it only gets worse.

it is coming from the front end, i am thinking it is a motor mount or something like that.

The motor was just replaced and i cant figure this little bugger out. please let me know any info. thanks in advNCE

happened to both my cars.
- my honda shook real bad under acceleration, turns out that my inner cv joint was way beyond broken. thats what happens when your balljoint breaks and your control arm hits the ground
- my protege is doing it now, but im pretty sure its because i have a clump of frozen fix a flat in the front tire .
get under the car and check to make sure everything is tight...axles,sway bar..even check the lug nuts...

Weird, on my trip back from California. (1100 mile drive) Non - Stop.. I felt a shaking on 5th Gear. Going from 80-90 mph. But when i let go of the gas, it stops. When i pushes it in. It shakes again? but.. whats weird, is when i throw it back in 4th gear, going around 80-90MPH.. It runs fine? (Lately my CV boot, tore also..) But can this really be the problem?

no! no! no!

If you dont know, dont post.

Its one of your Inner CV's. 100%. Get under the car and check them out - one of them will have a *slight* amount of play in it.

honestly it sounds like a motor mount, check to make sure they are all connected and all have the bolts in.

it is likely, a motor mount could easily cause that problem.

Its your CV AXLE!!!! Listen to everyone!

This exact same senario has happened to the last 7 Honda's Ive owned...costs me exactly $249 and change to replace the Axles/boots....(I think a dealer is something totally obsecene like $800).....

Look at it, for most of mine...it squirted oil out onto the wheels/car....

actually i had this same problem. i replaced both axles with brand new ones and still have the problem. check all motor mounts. not that either. balanced tires. still didnt help. ive never found a fix to the problem, just learned to live with it. so i wouldnt say its <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by .RJ &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Its one of your Inner CV's. 100%.</TD></TR></TABLE>.
good luck finding your problem
