Default half way done with turboing my b18b, need some help people......

ok i put everything in. i just need to connect the oil return line and the intake piping. my wastegate is set at 7psi and i have a fmu with 10 to 1 ratio. after installing everything, can i run my car without any tunning? if i were to get hondata, would i need new injectors and a new fuel pump? thanks, a lot people. need all the help i can get.

To get good advice you should post a little more info on your setup to get better answers.

tuning will be needed some time in the future, what size injectors are you running now? I would consider the hondata over the FMU, or any other type of fuel management besides a fmu.

Crome/Uberdata are cheaper and very good options.

Yes, you will need injectors/fuel pump if you go the chippable ECU route. The FMU will be fine if you run no more then 7PSI. If you want better gas mileage and more power for a little more money you can go with the suggestions above.

being you are running on stock injectors and decided to go with a fmu, i'm going to assume you didn't invest much into fuel management. So did you test your fpr to see if its functioning properly? And since your only on the fmu, i wouldn't be too harsh on the car until the injectors are upgraded at least. I would also look into loaning or buying some guages to check if your running too lean, too rich, check boost.

Why would you want to run it untuned anyway?

Cost?

You can drive around for a while just take it easy. I would highly recomend some injectors and a 255lph fuel pump and something to tune it with. At the very least get a VAFC2 but i would recomend getting crome, uberdata, or hondata

Also once you get your fuel manegment going good and tuned which is the most important thing. I would ditch the DRAG manifold its an ok begginer manifold but thats all its good for.

I agree. Cheaping out on the most important part of any turbo setup will only come back to bite you in the ***.

just get DSM 450cc injectors.. i'm not sure what year your car is but if its obd0 or obd1 you have the option of running a "free standalone" either chrome or turboedit.

dsm injectors are like 50 bucks, and chrome or turbo edit is essentially free + approximately 150-200 bucks for a street tune...

good luck
