Gsr trouble. dont know whats wrong?
i have a 98 gsr and my car has been acting really funny when i start it and go to drive the car is fine until i come to a stop and it will either sdtall or my idle will drop to like 500rpms then rise up. i can figure out what this is because when the the car is completely warm and temperature is right the car will be fine? please help?

Sounds like it could be vac related, however things like that don't normally go bad on their own.
As stated above, any recent maintenence?

the car has str cam gears, str fuel rail, fuel presure regulator and unorthadox racing pulleys, all this came wit the car so i didnt put any of it on.the only thing i have changed is the plugs i mean a 98 gsr wit 65k on it for $2,300 ya cant beat it haha

Well I would guess for that price something is wrong with it...got any pics?

Hold on. You bought the car for cheap b/c it was doing this?
My guess would be that maybe the timing is off due to the cams not being put in right?

i bought the car that cheap be cause the kid was goin into the police academy and couldnt have a car like this anymore cuz it had a full body kit.but i put it back to stock. im gonna check my cam gears thankd guys!

if it is not timing, bleed your coolinng system.
spray some water (do not use a hose!) on your vac hoses to check for leaks. maybe an exhaust leak?
does the car bog when you drive it at all?

i just turned down a 96 LS with 100k for 2k the other day. people are desperate to sell cars these days. this whole issue sounds timing related to me. set the gears to zero and the timing at 16deg BTDC. see if it clears up.
