Default GSR+BOOST = BOOM???

I heard that if you put a turbo in a GSR there is a slight chance of severe internal damage.

(This could be just a stupid rumor but I just wanted to make sure wether it was true or not.)

When your reving your engine and your secondaries kick in @ 5750 rpms it blows out some air and at the same the turbo is forcing air in, this intern causes severe engine damage not sure wut but it just messes it up real bad.

Any input would be helpful since im considering FI for my car. Thanks.

Your best bet would be to post this topic in the Forced Induction forum. There are a bunch of turbo GSR's. And they aren't going boom.

There are ways of doing things correctly and avoiding things like that happening. Building a nice setup, buying the right parts and tuning very well then you could have a very reliable turbo GSR. Im thinking about turboing mine as soon as I pay it off. I don't plan on going BOOM as you say. Im going to build it up the right way and take my time with the process.

If you want boost and have the cash to do it the best way then you won't have troubles. And of course you should have some knowledge on it. Forced Induction forum will yield you better answers

turbo is a great way to go but i suggest that u do a lot more research before u buy anything. with the increased horsepower from the turbo comes an increased risk of damaging ur engine.

Greddy, Revhard, etc. would not make a kit if boost broke a GS-R Engine. Take these other guys advice and stopping listening to kids how don't know anything.

tuning is the key when it comes to forced induction.

once the fuel delivery is tuned, it should run fine

J&S would be able to fix that if there was any issue anyway.
