Re: Which engine to boost? (DC TWOin IT)
well between the two engines that the OP listed, i would say the GSR only because of the lower compression. But the ITR could put out the same amount of hp with lower boost, only problem is tuning is a bit more difficult with higher compression.

what engine do you have now?
I like the idea of a boosted gsr engine, just because i like the idea of vtec, and out of boost driving wouldnt be so boring...
but an ls and gsr engine could put out about the same power... it just depends on how much power you want.

yah that is stupid, LS-Vtec is not nearly as reliable and should only be used for NA builds

i have dificulty in english man i just said the type r will be the best for sure but i will take moore time to talk about what i think its evry time a question of money...
its possible to boost an ls/vtec like its possible to boost a type R but to make the engine safe this motor need to be low comp
but the gsr with stock inside will be good too with nice whp...

the engine can be perfectly safe stock inside (ITR) on boost...I dont know who told you a 10.6 CR was god awful high and would just grenade under boost, but they lied
