EG6 LS Help: Squealing sound from engine bay 2-3000 rpm and up
I thought it was my alternator/power steering belt because that was the only thing i didnt replaced during the swapped a 1 1/2 ago. Therefore I replaced it, but I am still getting a squealing sound during deceleration around 3k rpm. It only happen after warm up. IN the morning to work I dont hear it until after 4-5 miles of driving. Anyone have similar problem? Can it be the clutch? Sounds like it coming from the belt side, but at the same time it sounds like its somewhere under the I/M. Please help

I had this problem on my DA integra and it was the A/C belt tensioner pulley. It was about to seize up, I could hardly turn it by hand.

You can isolate the belt by spraying it with water while the engine is running. If wetting the belt kills the noise, you'll know it's the belt. This may not help if you can't get it to make the noise by revving the engine with the car standing still, as the water will most likely dry by the time you get it out on the road.
If you wet the belt and the noise doesn't change, you may have a pulley with a bad bearing.
Take the belts off and spin each pulley by hand. The pulleys should all spin smoothly with no noise or roughness. If you hear or feel anything on any of them, you have a bearing that's either shot or on its way out.
