uhhhh i know for a FACT you didnt search because I've seen this question asked tons of times.

If you are going to do ls/vtec you might as well build it.
If you're going to build it,t heres no sense in buying the vtec head.

I would suggest building the block and head fo the ls motor to give you the ability to rev up higher and make a lot more power.

You have to find an a/c compatible turbo manifold. There are a few kits that do that, but to be able to tell you what kit to get, we need to know what kind of hp goals you have.

It is very possible to keep your A/C. Whether you buy a kit of go the DIY route and piece together your own. Get a manifold that is A/C compatible and go from there. You can buy piping or have them custom fabbed to go with your projects.

This link shows DC kits, most of which keep A/C but talk to them (i did) about making a kit for your DA. I dont have A/C or PS so it didnt matter to me, but it for sure can be done.

oh my bad. I was redaing it too fast. You made it plenty clear.

I would say ls turbo then.
Usually, the intercooler piping and intercooler arent what prevents you from keeping a/c , because if they do cause a problem you can just change the route that the intercooler piping goes. usually the a/c interference is caused by either the turbo manifold, or downpipe.
How much power do you want to make if you turbo it?

Different turbo kits will provide different amounts of horsepower, with the added cost so theres no sense on going overboard if you just plan on keeping a stock block for pretty much ever.

On my setup, I have 2" hot side(before intercooler) piping and 2.5" cold side(after intercooler).

If you buy a turbo kit, the intercooler and piping willc ome with it

Hope I actually helped this time.

TURBO= Short motor life might blow it with boost
N/A on Steroids= redline crazy and blow

u decide their is benefits to both of them. I didnt decided not to turbo my car since i dought my job will help fix my car if something happens to my motor so ill pick N/A for safety reasons. But if u have money go turbo and risk it you will have a sh*t load of fun.

Contrary to what some people are saying, the intake charge piping/ IC is almost always the reason why most people opt to remove their AC. The mani is the easy part, look into the Love Fab "AC Mini Me" or other options from Turbonetics and Pro Street. For the charge piping see if you can purchase it separately from a mass-produced AC compatible turbo kit, like from Turbonetics.

Your ability to keep your a/c revolves around your manifold entirely. Thats the placement for everything... including the ic piping. After opting for the ac compatible manifold it will place things such as your turbo, wastegate, and the manifold itself in positions that dont conflict with your a/c system. Thats including conflicting with the full core stock radiators. The ic piping can easily be modified or routed away from your a/c if need be.

I have a blox turbo manifold thats power steering and a/c compatible if you decide a cast manifold is the route you would like to take
