A/C compressor squealing... death imminent?
Well, my AC compressor is squealing pretty bad now... it was only a lil bit when it kicked in but now it is a prolonged squeal at times.... I think the previous owner maybe didnt use the charge w/ the oil in it. My AC is still puttin out uber cold air tho... could my belt be too tight or do you think my AC is in the early stages of failing?

It could just be the clutch squeeling or bearing and your compressor may be ok but this is going to be difficult to prove withour first changing the entire clutch and hub assy first and then an OEM reman compressor later with a complete flush involved.
I would remove the belt, rotate the hub then the drive shaft and see if I could feel a problem by hand, if not proof positive then disassemble the hub and do a complete inspection of the front end parts and see what they look like and how much clutch material is left.
Sometimes you can visually see the clutch slipping while the system is in operation.
