Default Buddy Club valve train

It's time for me to build up my valve train. I plan on taking my head off and doing everything at once. Id like to build the whole thing using buddy club parts cause the pricing is within my range and ive heard good things about their parts.
This what I plan on using
Buddy Club P1 dual valve springs
Buddy Club P1 titanium retainers
Buddy Club spec III cams
Buddy Club valves
Buddy Club headgasket

I'm pretty sure thats all im gonna need, other then new seals and seats and all that. Does anyone have any input on buddy club? Do any of you guys use these parts yourself or have any good or negative feedback towards them? Thanks (oh yea all this will be done on a b16a p30 head)

There is much better out there for the same price.

Ferrea valves and bronze valve guides is what i would use instead.
Other than that, it should be ok. Good luck with the build

I've spun my motor to 10k before on supertech valve train. That's the best bang for your buck imo.

Ferrea makes great products but you'll pay a little extra for them.

On the other hand, ive heard many horror stories with the supertech valvetrain...i guess its just a hit or miss.

buddy club is only good on accessory making. There machined mechanical stuff is iffy. keep searching and you'll find what you need

I have always liked the Skunk2 products when it comes to head components.

Ferrea always gets my vote as well.

I have read up a lot on Ferrea and on Supertech stuff and I think Supertech is your best bang for buck. Ferrea is a bit pricey but man they can take a beating and still be your best friend in the end.
