Brake Problems
Just ran into the problem of the outside brake pad touching the rotor on the passenger side rear brake. So I took the brake apart and behold the pads were wearing differently on each side. THe outside pad was about 1/4 the thickness of the inside pad.
What causes this to happen? My guess is that the caliper is ceasing and needs to be replaced.
So thinking about replacing it I have some questions.
1) Should I replace both sides at the same time?
2) Should I replace the rotors as well?
3)What are recommended items to buy? (calipers, pads and rotors)
Thanks for the help guys.

first make sure the slide pins are not sticking...if they arent then why not go for the complete job...one less thing u will need do in the long run...its what i did...new rotors, pads, and a new caliper, due to it being siezed...i gotta replace the other caliper soon as well

stock rotors with stock brake pads.
or shell out 500+ for a big break upgrade form AEM or other companies. I've seen powerstop drilled rotors for 64 dolars each or set i am not sure. those would be good all around rotors and some hawk pads or axiss. would do the job.

Well looking at the costs of brakes and upgrades. I was thinking of dual piston calipers. Might as well buy something good for the car. That way it will perform better in the end.
Thoughts as to aftermarket parts. If possible dual piston calipers.
