Default b18C itr or ls vtec b18b w itr head

i have a 2000 integra LS that im looking to drop a swap in

can i get some advice, any thoughts, or recommendations.

not sure if i should go w my original plan of piecing together my ITR b18c motor, or putting together a simple ls vtec w a built itr head and stage 2 cams.

my plan was to DD my integra while being able to track it on the weekends and really get the rpms up there to 8-9k

as far as suspension goes im pretty much done with all that,

any advice on what motor setup would be best would be greatly appreciated

i will post some pictures up asap

itr head pnp by alaniz @ ericks racing, supertech springs, retainers, valves. stage 2 cams, bwr cam gears, itr intake manifold, aem fuel rail, skunk2 tb, zerg gasket set, rc 750 injectors, itr dizzy, cr header smog legal.

no brainer, get the stock itr swap. you will have 28-30mpg and oe reliability. i've had a couple over the years and as long as you buy from a place that compression tests everything you're good to go.

these build projects always have you tinkering with and fixing something

the stock itr you just change the timing belt, get new wires, plugs, cap/rotor, pcv and a seal or two if needed and run it.

i put 75k on one of my jdm itr swaps without wrenching on ****...would have gone longer if i didn't turbo it and crack a piston. the itr engine after that i left stock, drove about 2500 miles and sold the car. engine was pristine

sell your bucket of parts and get a factory motor

i couldnt disagree with you.. but im looking to get past the 200hp of the itr.. rite now i have a zero mileage ITR Block that i bought a few months back from HMO. Honda Motors Online.

and i have this freshly built itr head, dont know weather to finish the itr motor with what i have or build something different..

your advice is greatly appreciated..

Put the ITR motor together that you already have and roll with it.

i actually got the head for free from a friend who was moving out of the states.

i did my research and i found out that the head was port and polished by Ericks Racing-Alaniz w 1100.00 + in port work as well as brand new supertech valves, retainers, and springs. as well as stage 2 cams.

you can find a good ITR head w stock port and polish for give or take 900.00 complete minus dizzy, intake mani, exhaust mani..

i believe HMO may have a ITR head for sale

Going to be changing the bottom end if doing lsv? cause i dont think the compression is good enough to run "stage 2 cams"

Anyways what kind of stage 2 cams?

i would say the difference between hearing and having a ST valve go bad on you is only from experience.. If you dig deep enough you will find dirt on every part. No valve is infallable, unfortunately lol.
