B18A1 Auto Trans work in a B18B1 Car???
Just like the title says.... My wife has a 94 integra with a B18B1... I found a B18A1 auto tranny.... My question is will everything work when I install it? I know they will mate up but what about speed sensors, solenoids etc..... Should it work? Thanks for the help guys....

I'm not to savvy on the auto Honda transmission's but the older B-series manual transmissions (like what would of been on a B18A1) had smaller input shafts. If this is the same with the auto's then you'll need the torque converter/flex plate to go with it.
I do know that the brain that controls Honda's auto transmissions is located in the main ECU. The B18A1 transmission would have been controlled by an OBD0 ECU, and the transmission that was replaced from the B1 was an OBD1 controlled unit, this could pose an issue.
Please take this with a grain of salt though, I have never touched an auto. Hopefully someone with some actual experience with this chimes in. Good Luck.

Worked just fine for me. My 92 4 door has a B18b1 in it with the stock trans and I didn't have any problems with it.
