ARGHHHH DAMN WATER!!! Need some help...
Hey guys, today I was driving in a heavy *** storm going about 50mph toward Wal-Mart. I couldnt see **** on the road, then I drove into a flooded out street, in front of Wal-Mart and got stuck. The engine died and electronics kinda went crazy and I'm just sittin there saying, "expletive expletive expletive." Then some cool *** guy came along and ask me if I need help pushing the car out of the flood waters. I was like hell yeah I need help. The friendly guy then help me push my car to Wal-Mart's parking lot. We checked under the hood and I noticed everything in the engine bay got wet pretty bad. Even my headlights got some water in it. Later on that day I took out my hot air intake. I see water got into the intakes pipes and manifold, so I'm thinking my engine is fucked. Is there any suggestions I should do?

Take out the spark plugs, you probably hydro locked the engine(water in the cylinders) That same thing happened to me.... All I did was removed the plugs, dried them off and blew each cylinder out with an air hose as much as I could, reinstalled the plugs and my car ran like **** for like 3minutes but then it cleared up.... Hope this helps.... *** long as when it stoped you didnt try to keep starting it you should be fine....

First of all Thank You guys for the quick response. Today, I was trying to flushing out the water through the spark plugs and drain the oil. The first time I crank the engine without the spark plugs water shot out like a gyser against the hood spreading water all over the damn place. I was pretty damn shocked when that happened, I didnt expect a pressure build that high. After 4-6 hours of flushing the engine with a help of a compressor. I finally see the engine's pistons is dry. Then I added some new oil and spark plugs to the engine. I finally get to start the damn engine after restless hours. The engine started smootly but with a freaking "clank clank" noise, I was like $*#K. I check the oil and it change color to chocolate milk. It seem to me that the freaking head gasket broke and the freaking vale is bent. What you guys think?

happened to me with the same clank clank noise. i thought it was running fine then about a year later. kaaabooommmmmm. it probably bent a rod making it weak. then the piston fell off the rod resulting in a hole in the block. and this was months after it happend. so dont be suprised if it blows. it sucks!

I think you need a motor. Looks like you weren't one of the lucky ones.
I'll never run a cold air again. I'm perfectly happy with a short ram. My butt doesn't pucker every time it rains any more. On my Teg, I just cut the cold air down to a short ram and was completely happy with it.
