I was driving home from school for lunch and noticed that my blow off sounded kinda funny. and having this happen before I figured that my air intake had fallen off. I get home and pop the hood and yep, my air filter had fallen of the tube to my turbo!!
the thing I need help on is that I think I may have gotten some water in my cylinders(cause the snows melting and its slushy outside) and I dont know what I should do about it!!

1) If you drove it home like that, then that means there's no water in there. A little water does not hurt (evaporates off). A lot will break the engine immediately, since it does not compress. There is no delayed effect.

2) If you still think there's water in there, pull your spark plugs and crank the motor. The water, if it's in the cylinders, will shoot out of the plug holes. done and done.

No need to worry about the small amount of moisture your engine may have injested. Like previously stated, it should have evaporated away if you drove it without any problems.

However, I would worry a whole lot more about damage to the cylinder bores because of sucking in salt spray and crap because the damned intake or air filter "fell off". WTF?
