Default anyone have this same problem?

i just picked up a set of jdm type r mirrors. when i look at the driver side mirror all i see is my door and quarter panel. and i already replace my mirror with my usdm stock one. i change the passenger side as well. i guess my question would be, is the jdm motor inside the mirror adjusted so that u can only see it from the passenger side? i know it would make sense cuz japan is rite hand drive.

lol its cool. i was hoping maybe someone has fixed this issue somehow. i was almost thinking about swaping the motor out maybe that would help the position of the mirror.

yeah you can get a jdm one buts it costs money and more to work on. why dont you just get another integra one? or dismantle the one you have right now and see if the motor is stuck or something

that makes sense. your basicly looking out what would be the passenger mirror, wich would be positiond diffrerent if your steering whel was on the other side. Are the motors interchangeable?

try using the glass from your original mirrors? maybe the part that the mirror is attached to is shaped differently (switched probably)

obviously you cant just flip them because they wont line up

It should move over, the motor is definitly stuck or you got jipped*spl* Spelling is an issue in the dark. All mirrors are designed to go way over, for reasons such as. I use mine to look at the curb when im reverse parking or something like that. But they should go all the way in both directions evenly. They are power right?

Where did you buy them from?

I just got my first DC2 as well, GSR all the way. soon to be 60-0 member. yes, 60-0 all suspenson and brakes.

cant you put the power folding motor into the stock mirrors? i think i read somewhere ppl where doing this with 98 us mirrors and 94 jdm mirrors to make cheaper 98 style folding mirrors.

I'm working on a set for my car, I'm pretty sure you can swap the motor assembly into a usdm mirror set.

I was gonna say to try and push it out more. I know that sometimes when I get my car washed, and theyare a little too hard washing the mirrors, they "pop" to a different position. like they slip in the track or something.

but if you say you already did that, your only hope might be to take apart the motor assembly on a USDM mirror and swap it out.
