it does save weight. all the panels, seats, cardboard, spare tire will add up.

it depends...do you care what class you autox in??

can you deal w/ the xtra road/ exhaust noise??

can you deal w/ ppl thinking your car is a piece of **** because it has no interior??

all for 40lbs max???

its up to you..if you dont like you can always put it back in...

I'd do it if it wasn't a daily driver.

Weight Reduction=CRAP , WR should only be used for drag. PPL these days...Ehh, what are you going to do when you have to take your girlfriend with you? LoLz You want to lose weight for motorX? First off you should just leave all the interior and go all motor work! Bad decision if your going with weight reduction, side panels, back seats, spare tire, etc, MAX=40lbs

If youre going to do some weight reduction, why not do it elsewhere, like in the drivetrain. Unsprung weight is worse than sprung weight, so focusing on moving components will help more at autox than stripping the interior. Maybe you could lighten up the front (lighter hood, axles, suspension + engine parts), since the front/rear weight balance is off due to the fwd, but I wouldnt suggest stripping the interior. Good luck man!

I drove with a completely stripped interior for a week or two last winter while trying to diagnose my water leaks, and I hated every minute of it. It was SO loud inside, looked horrible. When I say stripped I mean no carpet, no console or shifter boot, no rear side panels, no passenger seat, nothing. Inside the car was the driver seat, steering column and dashboard and door panels and that was it.

If you autocross it will bump you out of your class most likely unless you already run in a modified class.

Don't do it unless it's strictly a race car only.

Did you find the source of the water leak?
Where was it?

you're gonna stripe the inside? really? wow...

of course it's worth it if you take EVERYTHING out...every little bit helps but you can always put it back. The factory sound deadening crap on the floor is pretty heavy stuff if you can get that out, it would be a nice help to your goal.

I would get the cage installed and then cut the interior panels to fit around the bars.

no interior = no ladies

It's going to suck for daily driving. Mine is gutted, and it sucks lol. You can't even sleep in your own car. I found this out last night, when I let my friend drive so I can try to sleep, but didn't.

Dude send some myspace ****** my way! haha
