seriously? time to get a lawyer imo. if you're an employee of the place, and two of your vehicles are stolen from there, then there's something seriously wrong with their security, not just yours.

Damn man! Again? You must feel really bad. I would hate the feeling. Your old DC2 wasn't gone not to long ago. I think it's a sign. Time to get out of the Honda scene unless you have a place in the garage. That's two stolen within a year. I've owned 4 Hondas and each and every single one is either stolen or crashed and all of them are modified and swapped. Oh btw, I have a vx with a refreshed built b18c1 in the backyard waiting to be prep/started. I think this is my last one(I hope). Next car: Tsx or G35. Or maybe take the BUS? or maybe a bike. Just me and a chick. Good luck.

Re: 99 gsr stolen from LA/CA
security on our integras is NOT to be taken lightly. you need to be inventive and really think 'outside the box'. redesigning the entire electrical system of the car to have redundant security measures and a total layered security system has become sort of a hobby within a hobby for me. it's actually kind of fun.
i am in no way/shape/form exaggerating when i saw that there is not a single thief out there who would be able to steal my car by driving it away. ****** and grab items and a flatbead are the only ways you're getting anything from my car. lol.
it's really a shame that it has to be this way, but it is what it is. i'm sorry to hear about your stolen car man, but i have to say that next time your security must be beefed up if you don't want to walk out to find an empty parking space. i've often thought about doing a writeup on my entire system, but i guess that would be pretty stupid to post on zee interwebz. lol

Invest in a couple kill switches and detach steering wheel, and a detach lock. Alarm with a hood sensor
If you get another gsr most Likley who ever stole ur car is goin to go back and c that u got another one

when you really think about it, there are plenty of ways to completely rewire your entire car, relocate key electronics, wire in dummy electronics, wire many if-then switches, etc. etc. you can do it like i have and make it so ridiculously simple, yet incredibly complex in layout so that there's really no way anyone could ever figure it out without a few hours of time and a multimeter. when i flip one switch, there's a laundry list of things that happen, and all of them are redundancies. if the thief happens to find that switch, he still won't get anywhere because that switch is on an if-then circuit with two others that won't allow anything to function unless the first switch is in the correct position. you need to have back-ups to your back-ups.
all it takes is a little time and effort and you can make the car incredibly secure. to be honest, the only reason i even have an off-the-shelf security system is to get a lower rate on my car insurance and to have the convenience of keyless entry. siren-type security systems don't really do a damn thing.
again, i'm not trying to bash you... i really do feel sympathy for anyone who gets a car stolen. thieves are worthless pieces of trash. i'm just saying that there's lots more 'real' things... proactive measures that you can take to make sure your car stays where it's parked.

I understand you are absolutely right, but end of the day they will just tow it who cares abut all the time and money you invested on your car for the security.
hey
hey
when you only do the things listed on forums, you're right... nothing will stop them. go ahead and wire in a kill switch. any moron who has ever picked up a voltmeter can easily figure out how to bypass it in a few seconds. think about it - lots of honda/acura thieves are right amongst us here on H-T and every other forum. don't you think they've read the same write-ups you did to make your kill switch?

Re: 99 gsr stolen from LA/CA
so does that make it worthless to try? besides, not all thieves come equipped with a rollback or dolly to tow the car away. if you live in a high-theft area, the amount of thieves you can stop by just doing some clever wiring far outweighs the number who will just come by with a tow truck and ****** it up. even to combat towing... you can easily wire a tilt sensor right into the mix. the sensor can be activated by one of your switches, so that if, while parked, you vehicle is tilted as if it were going on a truck or dolly, it can activate any number of other features. it just takes some cleverness. you have to be more intelligent than the morons who are trying to steal your car.
besides, none of this stuff really matters because everyone has insurance to cover everything of value, right? hell if my car is stolen, i receive a big fat check worth every penny invested. it pays to keep your receipts and buy a rider for your policy that covers all aftermarket work.
