95 Teg GS-R w/Toda 4-1 Header Lose Bolt/Nut
95 Teg GS-R with Toda 4-1 header problem after 2 weeks.
While driving home from work, I notice a difference in sound coming from underneath my hood. I pulled over to the side of the road and gave it a little gas while the hood is open to further investigate what that sound was. I looked in a few places for " Air Leak " and to my suprise, 2 of my header nuts was just hanging on the edge of the bolt itself.. I put the headers in about 2 weeks ago and it was running fine..
So I got the car towed home because I was losing alot of horsepower and wasn't able to get fast enough on the freeway from 0mph back up to 65mph. Anyways, the integra sits in the garage to be cooled down before I jack up the car and go under there to tighten the 3 bolts that connect the downpipe to the header.
My question is, Why would the bolt decide to spin off?
I'm 1000% sure I tighten is very tight.
and Is there any kind of liquid/fluid that I could put on the bolt/nut for it to help it not spin off or come lose again...
Those header tri - bolt aren't easy to get to.. so I would like to prevent this again.
Thanks alot.

Re: 95 Teg GS-R w/Toda 4-1 Header Lose Bolt/Nut (Teg_Your_It)
The goal isn't how tight you can get it, it's applying the proper torque. At worst, you could use stock torque figures, unless your header manufacturer suggests some other figure. Getting it too tight or too lose can theoretically cause it to come off.
Otherwise, use the proper torque, proper torque pattern across the bolts, and some permatex.
