from what i have been informed on it would raise your compression, the B18's have a smaller combustion area on the head than the B16's...

Depends on alot of things if your et will be affected. But yeag your compression will drop a few points.

i'm sorry i dunno what the hell i was thinking, i thought you said will it raise compression i proceeded to say the B18 would giver higher compression than a B16 head. i dunno what i did say, but yeh lower compression with B16. i guess i need to wake up more before i post. sorry

I truly doubt that it would make you run slower times. flow quality under load and how a motor seals makes more of a point to accelerate a car than its "paper" compression ratio. I would be excited that you have the ability to run a nice single plenum manifold like the AEBS Power+. You could run the buddy club 3, 3+ or skunk stage 1, or CTR for that matter on that CR just fine. Its all in the tuning.
I dont think you could make over 200 at the tire on the stock displacement
very easily, however. It should run well depending on how it is assembled, maintained and tuned
