93 Integra Crank, No start after compression check
Hey Guys. Just bought this 93 Integra LS. 1.8 Non Vtec. When I bought it, it started up and ran fine. The other day I pulled it into the shop and ran a compression check on it.
Since this is the first honda I've owned, don't know too much about how it works. So I went and pulled the underhood ignition fuse. But it wouldn't crank after that. So i put it back, pulled all the plug wires and checked each cylinder.
After I was done, put everything back. Now the car cranks, but doesn't fire up. I have no spark. So I replaced the plug wires and distributor cap & rotor. Before I replaced the cap I grinded down the old one to expose the coil and couldn't get it to arc to ground. I have power at the distributor connector.
Good chance I need a new distributor? Or maybe I disturbed somethin when I pulled that ignition fuse? Any opinions would be greatly appreciateed. Thanks.

Coil or ICM, [igniter], if you have power to the distributor assembly, ign. fuse is good.
Make sure the coil and ICM are properly plugged in and the terminals are tight. 94

if you search around here you'll find reports of fried coils if it was still getting juice while the plugs weren't grounded.
you could try these tests before you spend money: http://www.team-integra.net/forum/bl...eshooting.html
