Default gsr transmission

i got the tranny rebuilt by gearspeed.inc and they did a great job. i ran the old tranny oil in it for a day now i drained and refilled. the guy at the dealer told me IT ONLY NEEDS 2 TO BE EXACT he did not wan't to sell me a 3rd bottle. now for the problems i took off the fill bolt and filled it thru the vehicle speed sensor and it didn't dribble or leak out of the fill hole. with the old tranny oil it actually did dribble just a LIL BIT. do i need to refill it properly by letting it dribble or was the guy at the dealer bullshitting me? if i need to let it dribble i got one question what other tranny oil can i mix in there? rp, penzoil, etc. i know it needs about 100mm left to get filled

Ummm it actually takes 2.3 QT's so a 3rd bottle is needed. go back and get the 3rd bottle if you really must tho you can use 10-30 to "top it off" strange tho he must have been messing with you.

yeah that's what i thought bro i think ill go and talk to the manager and tell him what happened ******* didn't let me buy a third bottle, i would of talked to the manager that day but i had another place to be so had no time, i really didn't want to go back but i probably will i didn't want to mix anything in even 10-30. so 10-30 is better then rp even to top it off? i don't mind using gw honda fluid im just asking a simple harmless question

rp is heavily overrated ! you CAN use 10-30 as a temp solution but Honda MTF is alot better. Yes go back and try again or to different dealer if you live in a big city.
