the synchros don't cause the "stickyness"..
flush the tranny fluid.. let out about 1/2, then put in a can of engine oil flush (petro-base) to rinse the old oil out.. run the tranny acouple times through the gears (on or off the stands), then let out all the oil. close it up.. then put some fresh mobile 1 oil in.. that should get rid of the problems.
when the synchros go bad you'll know because if you shift at high rpms your tranny will GRIND.

it's on the passenger side by the axle. it's a bold with a square socket. all you need is a 3/8 socket wrench and remove the bolt. Have your drain pan ready.
