Default 90 four dr over heatin

my integra is over heating not very often but it does from time to time i changed my motor to a 2000 motor now it over heats i changed the hoses the thermastat and the radiATOR it might be the water pump but then it would over heat all the time unless im driving but it doesnt any ideas?

you'll know when the water pump goes bad. you'll hear it.
try to pay attention to when it overheats. it could be a fan issue thats not wired or connected correctly. check ur coolant level in the radiator and the reservoir. g/l. hope this helps

well if i sit for a period of time like a long time it will over heat but if im like moving every couple of mins it wont like if i started it and itn just sat there it would over heat it would just take a little while but it does but only after a period of time

2 things that i'd suspect first, as they were probably not changed when you replaced the engine/rad.
-fan. does it come on when the engine overheats?
-rad cap. was it changed when you did the rad? does it cycle coolant into the reservoir, and back into the rad?

Ditto the above^^^ first thing I would check is to see if rad fan is coming on when engine is overheating.94

hmmm now thta i think bout it no i havent heard it come on since i changed my motor the rad cap i haVENT changed either ilkl try it thanks..

probably low on coolant because the rad cap is bad and is putting it back in the reservoir.
