75mph, a tractor trailer mud guard, and my bumper. The bumper lost!
I was on Hwy 101 heading to my girlfriend's. I was trailing behined a Nissan 240sx when it ran over a tractor trailer's mud guard. The mud guard flipped up, and hit my bumper. I was going between 75 and 80mph (speed limit is 65). The guard slid up my hood and got stuck on the windshield, directly in my field of vision. I couldn't see anything! I had to merge off the highway to the shoulder. I'm really lucky that I didn't die. Below is the carnage

good news is that now you have a reason to get rid of that chicken wire on your car

not bad cosidering my situation of just trashing the driver side of my bumper by backing out too close to the garage wall
