Re: (import810)
ha, a lot of pages of opinions here. every time ive gotten pulled over the police ask me why it says honda, thye get all confussed and ask questions. they always check the VIN to make sure its not stolen, and i have to explain why its there. i guess thats what i get for being a ricer. most of the time you are deemed a ricer for driving an import with any sort of modifications( as stated before), in regards to the genereal public at least. who gives a expletive about what anyone thinks, just build your car and drive it. in my opinion i like having honda badges instead of acura, acura is too american, in terms of marketing and ****. anyone who knows cars knows that Honda is serious business in the racing world, whether it be cars or bikes. id rather be affiliated a ricer because i have a honda badge than drive around with a badge made for marketing too us stupid americans haha. that is all

I would move to one or the other, but the Honda dealership in my town only promotes from within (parts, service, etc.) and I can't support my family on minimum wage. And the Acura dealership is 65 miles away. So Dodge it is.

I just bought one of the euro "honda" emblems off ebay. There oem just in Europe. the real way is to weld them shut and all that stuff. But I don't have time for that. So I just cleaned off the surface, put the badge on and took 2 small interior plugs and plugged the inside. Been working fine for me. GL!

Well **** I guess I'm a ricer too. I even put the honda emblem on my center caps. Hmmmmm....funny how even the door jam stickers say Honda.....the valve cover says Honda....even on the back of some of the interior parts....IT SAYS HONDA! oh my goodness stop the press! We have an ignorant domestic guy!!!! Honestly, who cares what he says. Its your car, its your pride and joy ( otherwise you wouldn't have had your feelings hurt ).
Take satisfaction in knowing that your friend doesn't know what a ricer is. For all you know, he could be one himself.

its not like its incorrectly labeled or anything...
if you put a lexus label on a toyota, or vice versa thatd be kinda lame. But theres a much bigger difference btwn toyota-lexus and honda-acura

i didn read all the posts/pages, but i think now adays, the term "ricer" is an insult, when i call a person a ricer, its because he has a over sized wing or a ugly *** body kit or a muffler tip. but its not a ricer when u have a jdm HONDA front with a H emblem... cuz i mean its a HONDA front end conversion..
also you know what, he prolly thought ur DC2 had a accord front end conversion or has never even seen a jdm front

Re: (FATBOY SPEC)
i like mine...but the rear badge was a stretch to find...ended up finding that the 1986 accord hatch "homda" emblem fit so thats what i used until last year...i bought the oem jdm badges...either way to each his own nobody will ever know that these cars are really honda......the general public is not going to know anyway....

it's all good bro. dodge still makes good money. i just left because a couple years ago there was a big sales drought and nobody was making more money than their draw. so good thing i was working on the mile of cars and i just moved a couple blocks down an autogroup that sold honda, acura, gmc, and mitsubishi. and that was the spot cuz you could make a sale so easy. but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to support your family, which is the same reason why i moved to another dealership.

Re: "honda" emblem on integra ricey? (JDMDC4..)
IMO any modification to change the appearance of a car to be something "different" but yet tacky is ricey.
So a H emblem is ricey if you ask me.
