I'd say use some kind of grease to lube it up, WD-40 won't last long, thick grease lasts much longer.

if its possible to clean it up, clean it. because putting thick grease on there will make it worse. or ex-change with another one?

oh, btw, you can get it unstuck by hitting it with something a few times, just be careful not to scratch...........mine usually gets stuck again the same day I fix it though

I like that mine gets stuck...I also like focking with people who are riding shotgun in my car and removing the steering wheel and asking them if they want to drive while I am cruising on the freeway. LMAO I did it to my aunt one time and she paniced! It was so funny.

I also have an NRG quick release, I've never had this problem yet. Would like to know how to fix this problem if it ever arises.

Me either, everytime I get an alignment someone backs into me throwing it off. I have given up on it by now.

wow so this must be a common problem if 3 people in this thread alone are stuck...........I gotta admit though it does make it quicker/faster to remove the wheel lol

How big of a problem is this? I'm looking into buying one.

its not actually a problem, and makes taking the wheel off faster...the only real problem is if somehow you reach behind it and pull on the ring too hard, the wheel will come off while you are driving, but i dont know how you would do that unless you were trying

It happens to me too. I just move it with a finger nail until it pops loose. Screwdriver might do the trick but it will scratch!
