Last night around 3 my friend woke up to see his car not outside. He lives in Woodbridge. Its a black S/C (not even a month s/c'd) GSR. About 100k on the clock. Here is a picture. Not much else I can say. Oh, its also has a team-integra.net sticker on the rear window and a CRAZY loud exhaust. If you see the car or hear of any S/C parts getting sold call

It looked clean as hell, did he have any theft protection install in it? sorry for his lost.

 

did he have an alarm? or any other anti theft stuff?

Thanks this sucks. This is the thing that makes it worst... He had only installed that S/C about 3 - 4 weeks ago and now its running ok but he has a stand alone on the way. Also we both have the same alarm for our cars. But we have both had the problem where the 2 way pager would stop recieveing pages so he called up DEI and they said "send it back and we will replace it" He sent it when? YESTERDAY! The one night had no alarm and his car is stolen. Now I dont know if he has told anyone other than me and my other friend. But this is a crazy coincidence.

Yeah, it's my car. Thanks for posting it up, Robert, and Dustin--I just got home from collecting up all the receipts I possibly could.

The weird thing is, my little brother SAW IT DRIVE OFF that night, but he thought it was another Integra, and not mine!! Arghhhh!

Sorry to hear. Who did the work on the supercharger install? Was it a DIY or did shop do it? Its weird but I always hear of cars getting stolen right after they've come out of shops and it's tough not to think that the shop may have something to do with it.

Just a thought...

 

sounds like they were staking out the car. I have the two way pager alarm, and the day before i was suppose to have it put on i parked it across the street where i normaly dont park it and they broke into stealing everything out of it.

 

you know, if it got stolen just a week after the supercharger was installed...consider maybe that someone who knew you, your car, and that you just s/c'd it was the person that stole it.

 

sorry to hear that man, hopefully they find it quick. side note, dont give any mechanics your true addy, never a good thing.

Yeah, thats what I'm thinking too--theres a lot of possibilities right now, everyones suspect, you know? All I can do is play the waiting game now.

hmm it does seem suspicious that it was stolen just after it was s/c'ed. hope it tursn up.

 

That sucks man...a friend of mine just S/C'ed his MR2 just over a week ago...last night some people came to try and steal his car but his brother spotted them and chased them off...and he did the install himself! So, I'd say for you, either it was one of your friends (or some of THEIR friends they told) or whatever shop you took it to...hopefully you find it man.

Has anyone ever thought of maybe putting a GPS tracker on their car? Maybe like on the bottom of the chassis somewhere, so you could track it if it ever got stolen? Just a thought...

Yeah, it sucks, I'm turning my keys in to insurance today. I'm going to miss this car, it's been with me since highschool, and I just paid everything off today, just so I don't have to worry about it, but now I'm kinda poor. Oh well. Well, I took it to InlinePro, and they did the retardation of the timing and all...I did leave my keys and information though--they're the only people that has it.

I was thinking the same thing...might have been an inside job. Also, there is a crew that works that area down to Fredericksburg. Did anyone see an Electron Blue '99 Si stalking the neighborhood before the theft? If so, I know who got your car. Let me know.

 

More than likely it was someone who knew you'd had this doen to the car. Hell maybe they even knew you sent your pager in and the alarm would be off. Poeple suck

Damn I hate seeing these threads. It's almost a deterrent to fix up your car just thinking that it will eventually get taken from you. I would love to catch some thieves in the act. All these thefts around NOVA/MD are too close for comfort I hope you find your baby or the ones who took her...
