How many of you daily drive your boosted hondas?
I know its nothing technical about it, but I just wanted to see how many members here daily drive their turbocharged honda's. Reason being why I am asking is because I am in a dilemma concerning if I should go boost or not if I intend this to be a daily driver without having no other car to take me to places that I need to go, such as school.
I plan on getting an Integra LS and boosting it afterwards (if it shows a good compression and leakdown test) with a T3/T04E 57 trim, .63 a/r at low boost (7 psi), but I can't help but think stuff can go wrong which might result in not having a car for sometime when I would need it the most. Or maybe I am just more paranoid than I should be. If thats the case, ****, I can't imagine how paranoid I will be if I am boosted.

I drove my old 92 civic si with a turbo ls motor in it about 200 miles a day for over a year before someone stole it. I drove it around at 7psi all day. I would write more but heading out the door right now.
Greddy kit for 4 months now....including numerous trips back and forth from las cruces to albuquerque...about a 3 hour drive or 220 miles.

this is off topic , but i finally got my car tuned and almost running perfect.
is it normal for the car to start feeling slow after a while...like i'm getting use to power its putting down? compression test and all that show's its straight..no exhaust leaks, and no boost leaks....thanks a lot!

D16Z6 @ 11psi for 19,000 miles. Beat the hell out of it every day and my biggest problem is keeping tires on it so far, and the fact that I want about 100 more hp now
The key to a daily driver is solid (not necessarily expensive) parts and decent tuning.
DruWO - I'm in the same boat. I take people for rides and they are like "holly ****" and I'm just talking the whole otime because it's kinda boring now unless there are corners, hence my need for more power now.

stock block LS/VTEC with ARP studs and bolts everywhere. T3/T67. Uberdata. Open downpipe. Only been finished since about midnight last night, but I am intoxicated with the sweet, delicious smell of C16
I can't wait till spring to get my sleeved motor in there.

Custom setup, d16z6 w/ the **** in my sig... I think I have a sig at least. It should say t3, tial 38, drag mani, cusomt everything else with dsm 450's and uberdata... 25k miles so far and still perfect compression and going strong.

Count me in, 10 psi daily driven. It's all about engine management and tuning, when not in boost it drives like stock, well actually better than stock, but you know what I mean.
This is my only car too, I do keep what I call my "Racing Fund". It's just enough money stashed away to do a build or pick up another car if needed
