Alot of people have this problem, its very common. There is a FAQ at the top of this forum, with links about this. Good luck.

I just noticed this yesterday.

I am going to put a Turbo on my window motors and that should solve the problem.

Why do that when you can just lube it up with KY jelly?

yup.. but what that topic does not address is the cleaning that must be done before the loob is used.

I cleaned the track for 10-15 min last weekend and the difference was amazing.

The rag was nasty black and I did not use a harsh cleaner...

I am still not sure if some l00b is the correct answer... it might only be a band-aid.

You might want to try putting more RAM in it. Windows is known for being slow.

Clean it with a damp cloth and spray it with Honda Silicone Spray.

How do you get in there to clean the stuff?

Got a Helms page to reference for openning the door panel?

I did not remove the panel... I just rolled the window down and shut the door. standing outside the car I stuck my finger under the gasket lip and wiped it down from front to rear.

my pass. side window was making a nasty scrape noise near the top.
the noise went away about 75%.. but still pisses me off.

Ok, wait, maybe I misunderstood then.

So you guys are talking about cleaning the black lip at the top of the window?

Weren't other people talking about cleaning the track?

I called Acura to have it done under warranty and they said they want to replace the regulator. I think I will make them clean the track and lip as well.

I told them Willard on Honda-Tech said so and gave them your phone number Willard; so in case they have questions they can call you.

I cleaned the part of the door frame that holds the window when it is up.

There was nasty stuff all the way around it.

as for the inside of the door... that may need cleaning also... I was tired of cleaning and wanted another beer.
