Has a Del Sol front end been swapped on an EG hatch?

If so can anyone find a pic?

I have a 92 cx that im building ground up with no front end or core support right now, and im looking at all my options for my front end.

Most people that i have talked to (and alot of you all will probably say the same thing but..) said i shouldnt try a del sol front end mostly because they do not like the looks of it.

So try and leave all the comments behind about how it will look, just help me try and find a picture, and maybe some info


I wanna try the Del Sol front end because i like the looks of a Sol, but the car being so small, i would never buy one. So thats why im thinking of customizing a Sol front end on a hatch.

hmm i dunno i think it would throw the whole appearance of the car off. but try the appearance forum. Remember everyone is each to there own. do what u wanna do to your car

 

ive seen it once, it looks awesome IMO, and its different...try searching archived it was on here not TOO long ago

You know he's talking about a Del Sol front on an EG and not vice versa, right? I've never seen what he's talking about, but the EG front on a Del Sol looks pretty sweet .

yeah youre right i think i got it mixed up, i couldnt remember which it was

 

theres a pic of a hatch with the del sol floating around somewhere, ill see if i can find it so you can see how awful it looks.

With the bigger lights of the del sol it looks kinda EKish. I think it looks pretty good. But i think the Teg front on a hatch is the only conversion worth doing if you are going to do a conversion,

 

it looks very awkward.... i just dont like it.

If by "worth doing" you mean is the worst possible thing you could ever do, then yes, you're correct.

 

So just curious, but I've noticed this thread has recieved little to no flaming. Not that I'm encouraging it, but what the hell people?

You all sack ride over every JDM exterior part and CF hoods, and even Honda to Honda front end conversions, but the second somebody has a kit or some headlights you don't like the **** hits the fan and everybody wants to bash?

Just something to think about.

Just something to think about. </TD></TR></TABLE>Hey if you want people to flame i'm sure they will. I was just curious because I saw the pics of the Civic front on a Del Sol and liked it. I don't like this one however and the guy that said Teg front ends should go on Civics sucks at life. j/k.

 

Why not throw on the JDM ITR front end? looks a lot cleaner.

jdm itr front on a del sol is ******* amazing. other than that leave the del sol front on the del sol and the eg front on the eg ;P
