I have a 92 GS-R with only bolt-ons.
Today i went to start my car as i was leaving the tennis court and i got in turned the key and it turned over started and just died. I tried starting it again right away and it turned over but no dice. I turned the ignition off and waited for like like a minuet or two and tried to start it again and it worked like a charm. This happened again later while i was at the gas station. In the past it had similar symptoms but just died for good and i replaced the Coil and Igniter so they are both only like 5 months old. It only happened when my car was warm. This has never happened from a cold start. I'm kinda in the middle of doing a tune-up and i've changed the Spark Plugs, Cap, Rotor, Air filter, Oil, and MTF. I did those about 2 weeks ago. It seems also like the car is running a little rich. Like i can smell a little un burned gas in the exhaust. I have emissions soon, so i want the car to be in tip top shape. the car has 132,xxx miles on it and every scheduled acura maintenance done on it up to 113,xxx miles.

Please i'd like to get as much input on what my problem could be.
I greatly appreciate any advise i get and feel free to refer to anything in the helms manual since i have one.
I'm leaning towards some sort of ignition problem but i just have no clue since i wasn't able to check for spark when i was having the problems.

^ Is that it? Anyway, I have somewhat of a similar problem on my '94 GSR. If I park in an incline, the motor turns and turns, but doesnt start. I have to open the driver side door and put 1 foot out and shake the car side to side. It starts right up. And yes, I have fuel. What gives????

I had the same prob- I changed the main relay and it still happens, not as much but it still occurs....maybe it's my starter....

 

That sounds right according to this link in that search you did. I'm gona go pop that baby out and have a look at the circuit board.
