Carbon Fiber hatch
For the CF hatch on a integra would the glass make a good seal. I would go with lexan or that new FAL material but I think defrost is more important
. I have also hear other issues that you have to apply some kind of hatch pins because a latch is not an option. I saw a Yellow R with the hatch and from what i could tell he was utilizing factory glass, but still couldnt see how the hatch was locked in place.??

yeah his name is nicedc2r. He is using the factory glass, and I talked to him about his hatch and he never mentioned using any different type of lock, so I believe the ViS uses the factory locking mechanism
Awesome, I talked to a guy with a PY ITR w/ the JDM front about a month ago at a Ovis event in louisville KY. from horsepowerhouse. He gave me the information about how it wouldnt seal correctly and the latch issues, anywho nicedc2's ride is sick WIT it

When installing hatch and windshield glass you actually "glue" the glass to the car. This not only secures the glass to the vehicle, but also provides a good air/water tight seal.
It will be no different when putting your hatch glass onto a cf hatch. The glass company will just urethane that sucker on there (the glue used is referred to as "urethane"). Oh, and lexan pieces are typically installed the same way (unless its on a race car where they sometimes rivet/bolt it on).

Stock latch attaches to the cf hatch. It functions as normal, like the EG/EK version.
