cam gear adjustment with skunk2 stage 1 cams???
i just had my car tuned with hondata, but theres something that i wasnt too sure about. i have cam gears, skunk2 stage 1 cams and ctr pistons in a b16. i looked at the cam gears when it was done being tuned and the intake and exhaust cam were BOTH RETARDED 1.5 degrees.
im no tuner, but shouldnt the exhaust cam be retarded 1.5 degrees???

Every motor is different. I would leave them alone, especially since it was already tuned. I do think Skunk recommends different settings, but that may be for emissions reasons and so forth.

Straight from the smelly animals mouth...Intake 0 degrees, Exhaust +1 to +2, fuel pressure +3 to +5, valve settings (COLD motor) IN .007 in., EX. .008 in

Like said above. Each motor is different. I had the best numbers with my intake cam -2 and my exhaust +2, which are very strange settings compared to most. I've seen some like the intake at 0. If the tuner knew what he was doing, I would trust their judgement on gear adjustment.

i am having problems with this civic i installed stage 1 obx cams and cam gears and every time i hit v-tec it bucks like three times and then is fine

hey, i have skunk stage 2 cams, with full skunk valvetrain in a b18, with skunk adj. cam gears, but what are the valve settings for a cold motor. ?!?!?!?!?!!?? i have it set to .003. and they are caming like a ****. please input will be appreciated... the head is fully built but stock valves, cause oversized valves are not recommended, and i have skunk valve springs, and skunk retainers.
