So you want to drive on a racetrack...

This is my protest for the hardball tactics of HT's new owners.
If they're going to make money from my freely contributed articles, yet not allow me to have a link to my book, the gloves come off. Don't worry, the article still exists, but it has been moved to: http://www.kimini.com/trackdays/.
Another reason for moving it off-site is the suspicion that the new owners may accidentally, or on purpose, delete the archives. Moving this thread is a way to preserve a lot of my free contribution, and a little bit of the once-great Honda-Tech

If you're so inclined, you could be at the track every single weekend on the east coast.

From February to November, I can be on track every single weekend if I want. And I generally limit myself to between Summit Point (WV) and Roebling Road (GA). One weekend, I went to 2 events. Saturday at CMP, and Sunday at Roebling.
In 2002, friend of mine did 32 track events that year by end of June. There had only been 25 or so weekends up to that point.

Does anyone have any recommendations for track days in Florida which aren't so expensive. I don't want to race, basically arrive and drive and push my car in a controlled manner. I live fairly close to Sebring, however all the trackdays seem to be about $350 plus, and when in school it can get expensive.
Any one have any suggestions,
