Try checking your IACV (Idle Air Control Valve). Not sure about your particle engine but on my GSR it's bolted on the back of the intake manifold. When you pull it off check the two passages on the back. Check for corrosion. Coolant passes through them. Clean if needed. Here's a pic:

It also may be the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve). This controls idle when the car is cold (raises idle when cold to help warm engine up). Heres a good link on it since i've never replaced/checked it. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=699787

Does your car surge or does it just sit at a steady 1500rpm? Does it only do this when cold, warm, or all the time?

I tightened my FITV and it made the car idle like **** when it's cold. The thing would stall out and miss. It's set from factory to give you a set cold idle, and shouldn't be messed with. I seen in another post that it should be tight, and it shouldn't. It's set from factory. DO NOT tighten the FITV, clean, it, but do not tighten it. If you did tighten it and find that you have a shitty cold idle, unscrew it a couple turns, maybe more. Might have to try this a couple times to get it right. If you haven't touched it and have a shitty warm idle, then this is definitely not your problem.

check the iacv because this is the most common plm and take it off from the behide the intake manifold then clean it out with carb cleaner or brake cleaner

Sometimes, they leak. Sometiimes the seals go. Sometimes dirt gets inside. Just normal wear and tear. But as far as the screw inside, they are set to give you a "set" cold idle. The more you screw in, the lower your cold idle. The more screwed out, the higher your cold idle. If it is out too far, it may effect operating temp idle because some air may be leaking. But, by no means should it be screwed all the way in. Unless you like stalling/missing/sputtering while cold. You could screw it all the way in, but you'll have to sit there with your foot on the gas idleing it to warm up the motor till the EACV/IACV can take over Idle control.

well i had a similar problem, bleed the sytem (make sure the thermo is open) and now it idles fine, some times some air in the line causes fluid not to get everywhere it needs to go

well i bled the the cooliong system, idles the same and the the mtor gets warm so i think the thermo is opening but it sees like the motor take a little bit longer to warm up..... maybe the antifreeze water mixture is incorrect but i think im gunna go take the fitv off and see if it needs cleaning, any other info will be helpful

well my rear mount is in the way to get my FITV off, b18c manifold makes no room for me, but i think i found the problem, im not sure if th thermo is opening up all the way, motor temp stays cold so it idles high, but the radiator seems like its normal temp..... any info would be very helpful......oh and woud it be easy to just unscrew the block off plate at the end of the FITV and screw that white thing in or just take the hole thing off? please help m im getting frustrated
