hi just wanna know how low can u drop with these skunk2 coilovers is 3" possible on stock shocks. anybody have any PICS with them on a EG ??

anybody at all with skunk 2's in their car im looking to go for a decent drop about 3" will they be enough to get me there,

They'll go down 3"

 

you can go that low on stock struts, but it will ride like complete ***....trust me. Its not worth it....

Heres mine at 3 threads from the lowest you can go...



I have since raised it up considerably. Instead of 3 threads from the bottom, now I am at 16 threads and it sits right on tire basically and rides 100x better....

 

mines wasn't bad considering I had DIY top hats. I had fat top hats in the rear since it didn't hit or affect anything. for the fronts though, you would have to tilt your hood for better clearance.

I slammed it for looks back in 99. This was way before my swap or my Tein HA's.

how bad can the ride gonna be my friend has chopped springs any worse than that lolz?
so would you advise ground control coilovers instead of skunk2 will the ride be any better or the same on that low drop about 3" i want it over my tires because im taking off my front lip so it doesnt scrape might aswell go as low as i can

I had DC2 skunk2 coilovers on my EF hatch, and I was able to tuck 13" cx wheels. It was nuts.

what was the ride like tho?

 

It actually wasn't too bad...I had kyb agx's (I know...shitty) but it didn't bounce like most cars did that low.

It rode kind of rough, but it wasn't nearly as bad as you would think it would be. It was nice too, no body roll at all. The higher spring rates helped ALOT

so will GCs give me a better ride on stock shocks whats the spring difference?

i got a crx with some dropzone coilovers and the back is like .5 inchises downa nd the frotns dumped... i cant get it anylower on stock struts why?
