Default HOW TO REMOVE/INSTALL VSS IN TRANNY

just bought a new tranny and it doesnt come with the VSS.... need to know how to take it out of old one and install it in my new one.... thanks for any help u can give me

2 bolts, pull the vss out, install in new tranny

oh ok, so i dont have to take anything apart? good ****, just slide it out and slide it in, doesnt have to be a certain way or anything?

if its a b series tranny its only one bolt just unbolt it and pull it out. easy and putting it back in is a no brainer only goes in one way for the bolt to bolt back in

d series is 1 bolt too , at least ek trannys are

i think you guys are confusing the top part of it with the bottom part......oh and good luck, i really ******* hate VSS's

EK trannies are 2 bolt too, when I put a Y8 tranny in my 94 DX the VSS decided to stop working, there is a little pin inside that is important not to lose.
