you're not talking about the OEM optional sides are you? eww that would look nasty unpainted.
I gotta paint my stock sides, would look WAY better w/ my 98+ ITR lip.
And yes, that lip up there would look 1681686468768x better if it AND the sides were painted to match the car.

why paint carbon fiber though? I can understand if you bought a black plastic lip, then yea paint it, becasue im having my abs plastic ITR lip painted to match my car too, but the whole point of buying a c/f lip would be for people to see its c/f right?
i like it, looks good i think i might need to do that ti my acura and forget the whole 98 conversion.....

SI-VTEC copy.
looks good, finally somebody decided to make a copy. Does it attach like stock, or is it all double sided tape?
And if you guys plan to buy this, please note that i don't know of many people with the SI-Vtec lip that haven't cracked it already, so the carbon copy may get cracked even worse.

Most people miss the entire purpose for carbon fiber. While is does look awesome, it's main purpose to reduce weight and still have unbelieveable strength properties. I don't necessarily agree with Patrick in painting all carbon fiber parts, I do say, to each his own.

Pshh if you paint match it you lose that CF bling factor, which is what its all about
In all seriousness it depends on what looks better. If it looks better unpainted then don't paint it, but if you like the style of the lip and it only comes in CF why not paint it to match your car.

im not a fan of bling or any of those parts taht catch the eye, but for a little lip, ill take the bling factor of it looking CF rather then paying all that extra money for CF and then paying extra money to paint it. Unless your that hardcore of a racer, how much does a CF vs abs lip save weight wise, 2lbs.

I agree most cars are all riced out, but it does not mean if you have a Carbon Fiber part you have a riced out car.
Most people due buy carbon fiber parts only because "it" looks cool.

A Carbon Fiber lip doesn't reduce any weight I know, I was talking about real race cars and the real reason for Carbon Fiber.
Funny, I have no carbon fiber on my car.
