First, this is what I have...

1) '88 Honda CRX Si
2) '89 Honda Civic Si HB.
3) Built B16a shortblock
4) Built B18c1 shortblock
5) Alaniz tech head (Erick's), Skunk2 Stage II valvetrain
6) Stock GSR head
7) Stock B16 head with Skunk2 Stage 1 valvetrain
8) Stock Type R mani and type r throttle
9) P/P Type R mani (DPR) with Spoon 70 mm throttle
10) Stock GSR mani
11) Y1 cable trans with Quaife
12) YS1 cable trans with factory LSD
13) Jackson Racing B-series supercharger

I was thinking of putting the GSR block with the Alaniz head, DPR mani and Spoon throttle and Quaife on the Civic, and the B16a with stock B16 head, stock Type r mani and Type r throttle and supercharger and LSD trans on the CRX

How would you guys divy up the parts? Please take into consideration the weight of the CRX vs the Civic.

I would probably do it the other way around. CRX has less room. What intake manifold do you have for the GSR motor?

 

I have a stock type r manifold, a stock type r throttle body, a p/p type r manifold, a spoon 70mm throttle body and a stock GSR manifold. I though using the p/p manifold with spoon throttle on the B18c1 with the Alaniz head and the stock type mani with type r throttle on the stock B16 head.

The engine bay on the CRX and the Civic are identical in size...
