Who are the guys who have gone 12 seconds in the 1/4 mile in an EG Civic HB? Do you have any website describing your modifications to the car? Typically, how much horsepower and how heavy do you need to be to run a 12 second 1/4?

is it possible to run under 13 with b16a2 coupe without turbo or charge?

 

My B16 set up is good for 12s, in a 96 coupe

I'll run it next spring when everything is dialed in.

 

My good friend runs consistant 12.2's-12.4's in an EG. He has a VX with franky motor. 00 si head, B18A block, 3angle port and polish, decked block, itr intake cam, OEM P30 pistons, VAFC, MUGEN proggie on his P28, itr tranny, stock LSD. Fiberglass hood, doors, hatch. dash is in there and driver seat. all motor.

205HP to the wheels.

i had a 1995 EJ coupe chassis with a JDM B18C and i ran 13.8 with baby slicks. all i had was an AEM filter, field's vtec controller, open y-pipe form the stock header. full interior. 13.7-13.9 @98MPH
never dynoed.

Lemme change the question up a little bit.
No nitrous or turbo. Superchargers are ok. How do you get to 12's?

What is the power/weight ratio?

 

all motor ls/vtec daily driven eg hatch high 11s dont know his mods just know he spent over 10gs on the motor.

 

Milton, Kevin, Ryan, etc. they`ll be at dyno day.

stripped eg, slicks, jrsc`d b18c..you`ll do 12`s if you can drive. Pretty basic setup, too.

I`m building an EK simillar to this but a bit more extreme. Sometimes one type of forced induction just isn`t enough

theres an EK hatch in the bay that runs 12s all motor. dont know his mods though, maybe someone else here will know. its SVP. They also got a 12second all motor daiy driven ITR.

 

the hatch is running a itr or ctr motor forgot and the itr is out for a while hes planning on b20 vtec soon.

 

really? hes not going to try to put his motor back to the way it was befor he got jacked?

Wel, I did 13.4 with FULL interior in my 2000 Hatch. I think if I guteed it a bit and ran 13" Bogarts with MT's)Which are on the way) I just may be able to hit a 12.9

I will definately be strong in the 12's by spring

the SVP hatch runs 12.5's on the track(no interior and no exhaust)

it only runs low 13's on the street

itsa fully built ITR motor...built by mr DNR himself

 

What do you guys think an EG with a h22 will pull?

 

stock and full interior? low 14s....maybe high 13s with gutted interior, i dunno, taking a guess.
