Is there a tech write up on valve cover and plug seal replacement?
Been searching, however this site is still new to me. Checked under tech and accord, anywhere else i should look?
I have oil soaked plugs and a gasket kit sitting in front of me from majestic as we speak, just would like a tech to show me how, just so i don't biff up.

for the valve cover, it should be only a few bolts uptop, and a few ground screws to remove, and it should come right up... make sure not to pry it off and damage the sides...
the upper rings should be easy to replace, it sits right on the grooves inside on the valve cover, but the lower o rings i dont have a clue how to get to either... and dont forget to use a little bit of liquid gasket stuff on the edges.

if you have oil in your spark plugs, i reccomend geting the all the gaskets, i know you got some, but get the main valve cover one, the spark plugs one,, not sure which engine your talking about but there should be 4 rings and 1 big one for the valve cover, it should be a couple of 10mm bolts, check for anything else, before you take anything off, stick some kind of thin cloth or paper towel and soak up as much oil as you can, dont freak out, a little oil will jsut burn off
so undo all the 10mm's and take off valve cover, then replace all the seals, please also get some Hondabond or some kind of gasket seal, but at all the edges, you should be able to see the old spots where honda put it, but dotn over over do it, jsut coat a thin coat all around the selas and rings, put everything back and fire it up, hope that helps

Remove everything that is connected to the valve cover. The spark plug wires, the cruise control cable if you have it, PCV valve and any other wire or hose I forgot to mention.
Remove the five bolt on top holding the valve cover down. I think there are two in the back and three in the front but don't quote me on that.
The valve cover might be a little stuck so just wiggle it and it should come free.
Flip the valve cover over and you should see four black rings inside the valve cover. Pry them out with something, they are in there pretty snug so it may be a little tricky. Once they are out, use a little oil or other lubricant and lube the outside of the new gasket. Don't put a lot, just use a little coat to help put the new ones in. Now press the new ones in making sure they are all the way down. It's going to be a tight fit so be patient and work it in there.
Now if you have done it already remove the old valve cover gasket. Clean the surface where the gasket sits to make sure nothing will prevent it from sealing.
Put the new gasket into the groove going around the valve cover.
You see those two half circles where the gasket goes over the cam shaft. Down in the corners where the half circles meet the flat surface of the head is where you need to put the liquid gasket. Just put a minimal spot so when the gasket goes down into those corners, they seal all the way with no gaps.
Once the liquid gasket is in place, put the valve cover with the new gasket into place. Don't wait to long do do this. Read the back of the liquid gasket tube to see how long is to long. They usually say something like "don't let it sit for more than X min" or something.
Now you can reinstall those five bolts that hold the valve cover down. Start with the middle front then go tt the right back, then left back, then right front, then left front. I believe this is the correct order your supposed to use when tightening the valve cover down. Only torque them to 7ft/lb, they are easy to break.
Now you can reinstall the plug wires, cruise control cable and everything else that you removed.
Hope this helps. If I gave any misinformation please correct me.

when I did my oil seals, I had a one hell of time getting the old ones out. i ended up just putting a torch on them and burning all the rubber away. practicly fell out after that
