I'm painting my car imola orange pearl (JDM NSX)...and thinking about painting my top black like the nsx...anybody have pix of their dc2 with this done?...opinions?

the NSX-R scheme has been done, and it's a pretty sweet deal IMO.

If the second pic there is what your car will look like, I'd say go for it. It looks nice! With that color orange paint, it almost resembles the 2nd Gen talons as well.

 

the orange one looks like a s13 240 fastback.

 

The ITR (Wht/Blk) combo looks sick. Not sure about the Orange and black tho. It really does look like a 240

The R is dope as hell, i'd do that if I were getting a paint job.

 

I dont no if im feelin it personally, but it looks way different, and not disgusting in any way. Go for it.

 

no one else on here did this? trying to see more pix to get a better idea of how it'll look...specially on like some slipstreams...i have a carbon fiber hood and gunmetal w/polished lip slips....o and ITR wing also...still say go for it?

with paint jobs being so expensive and due to the fact that you've already got that sweet CW w/ black roof, I'd consider it a misappropriation of funds, but hey, if you like it, go for it (to each his own)

Here's another pic w/ a teg w/ just a black roof. It's a little different, but you definitely need a cf hood and cf trunk if you do it.

this one looks sssssoooooooo sweet. i think just the roof painted black looks alot better then painting the whole top half of the car. it looks too much like a talon IMO with the whole top half painted...
