Damn, sorry it took so long. I went out and forgot all about it and then I had to find the damn Helms.
Anyway....
Holy **** there's a lot of info. I'll try to type it out, but if you wanna call me or something, PM me and I'll give you my number and I can tell you over the phone, might be easier. ::shrugs::
Cylinder Head Bolt Torque Sequence
Lay the head horizontally, so the intake is away from you and the exhaust ports are facing you. Going across, from the top left to the top left of the intake side the order is 9, 5, 1, 3, 7. Going across from the bottom left to the bottom right on the exhaust side, the order is 8, 4, 2, 6, 10
Ghetto text picture, y0!
INTAKE
===========
| 9 5 1 3 7 |
| 8 4 2 6 10 |
===========
EXHAUST
They are 11x1.5mm bolts that should be torqued down 85 Nm or 63ft-lbs. Note that they should be tightened in a two step sequence. First use the above order and torque them to 22ft-lbs, then again in that order to 63ft-lbs.
Intake manifold should be bolted on in a criss cross pattern beginning with the inner nuts. Those should be torqued to 17ft-lbs. The IM bracket if you still have it should be torqued 17ft-lbs as well.
I'm sure you can figure out the exhaust manifold, right? If not....just post, I'll post the numbers.
How bout camshaft installation? You know the numbers for those? Sorry I'm not typing everything out, there's a lot here. Just lemme know if you need it.
Camshaft holder plates
For the intake cam plate, use this order. Get ready for another amazing text picture, y0!
Intake:
13 = 9 = 5 = 1 = 3 = 7 = 11 (upper plate/farther away from you)
14 = 10 = 6 = 2 = 4 = 8 = 12 (bottom plate/closer to you)
NOTE: (#13 and #14) and (#11 and #12) are the ends of the cam plate.
Exhaust:
13 = 9 = 5 = 1 = 3 = 7 = 11 (upper plate/farther away from you)
14 = 10 = 6 = 2 = 4 = 8 = 12 (bottom plate/closer to you)
NOTE: (#13 and #14) and (#11 and #12) are the ends of the cam plate.
NOTE: Intake and Exhaust cam plates are tightened in the same order.
For both the Intake and the Exhaust, do this:
#'s 1-10, apply engine oil to the bolt threads and torque them to 20ft-lbs.
#'s 11-14, torque to 7.2ft-lbs
The cam gears should be torqued to the cam at 41ft-lbs.
Okay, I believe that's it, save for the torquing of the valve cover bolts and whatnot, but I'm sure you know those.
Lemme know if you need any more info.
