Just bought what is supposedly an ITR cat (USDM). I noticed that the catalyst element only runs maybe 1/2 the length of the cat. Is this an ITR cat?

Naw don't think it's a JDM cat. It's 17 5/8" long and my 2" donut gasket fits the 2 bolt flange.
The catalyst element starts 10" down stream for the inlet. Kinda strange for the element to start that far deep. No signs of melting either. Judging what the seller told me and what condition it's in I'm inclined to believe him.
Bottom line it's either a LS or USDM ITR cat.
It's not for performance per say. I'm running a test pipe right now and am tired of the smell. Cops are cracking down as well. I'd rather go with the original cat than a carsound that so many people have had trouble with and ITR flow the best out of all the original cats.
