Default I need your transmission!

I am starting to go into business with my father. He has owned a manual transmission repair service for the past 27 years. Maily domestic, but some ot the toyota, nissan, import RWD transmissions he has rebuilt. It's time for him too start looking into a partner (me) since he is getting older and just doesnt want to sell the business to a stranger or sell it outright.
Anyhow long story short, I have decided to be his partner and I someday will take over the business. Well, these are changing times, and how often can you even buy a rear drive manual trans car anymore. I suggested to move onto FWD manual trans'. He agreed but wants me to start taking it on as my contribution to the business.
So here it is, I am looking for any transmission. A donor trans, something that you couldnt sell and that you would give away for free. I will need to start tearing apart and familiarizing myself with the workings of them. In the future my plans are too become a distributor for LSD systems and maybe some sort of axle line like Raxels. Also to be the leader in the FWD rebuilding industry. My father has made a name for himself over the past 3 decades and is a highly respected man in the industry.
His personal accomplishments are the following, but not limited to more:
Taught the transmission overhaul classes for several years at the Bloomsburg Corvette show, this if you dont know is THE corvette show. In case your dont know, a restored car brings much more money than a 7 sec. street terror, and many people go through great lengths to make their car perfect--speaking restoration wise.
Also, he builds racing transmissions for the Busch series of NASCAR
He has came up with his own secret way of doing many thing for these cars.
He has also designed and built 2 speed transmissions for the dirt-oval track racers.
The list goes on and on. I am plan on continuing his successful career with my peers in the FWD age.
If you can help me out, I will help you out in the future if you ever need any servicing or discounted prices on anything.

Thank you for looking and hopefully responding. I am looking to become a pioneer for the import scene, just as those like Z10, Fastbrakes, Hondata, etc. has done for us already!

Please email me provately if you have any questions that you dont wish to share on the board.
Thanks you and have a nice day !

Sounds like you have a plan. You know that limitted slip difs are becomign very popular now that Quaife has dropped it's prices. This is a market that is really going to take off.

I installed my own LSD and replaced the bearings in my 97 GSR trans (hybrid). It's not too complex. kind of fun actually.

Yeah, after I pulled my tranny apart the first time, I realized they aren't as complex as I thought. Auto transmissions are still kinda baffling to me though.
