I wonder how high bidding will go. Keep in mind that non-yellow interior sets will probably cost ~$3000. Unfortunately, yellow gets dirty too quickly.

hopefully the new owner knows that if they use paypal the seller cannot request a +3% addition to the final auction price even if it in the auction.
i already asked paypal. that could save the new owner some spending cash.

because when you first join paypal in the small print is says if you use paypal you can not ask for a service fee, handling fee or any % fee while using paypal. not word for word but if you call paypal they can tell you exactly what is in the small print.
i know this for a fact because i had an ebay seller do the same thing. and paypal got in touch with him and if he continued this he would be dropped from his paypal account indifinitely..and i wsa only liable for the auction price, and shipping and not any additional % fee stated in the auction.
but like i said if you really are concerned call paypal and they can explain it better than i can...

We've gone over this issue on this board before. If seller were to sell for same price using PayPal versus some other form of payment, he/she wouldn't be receiving their asking price. PayPal takes $0.30 + 2.9% of total, which may not be big deal if it's small amount. However, keep in mind that most sellers are private parties & not merchants, where you could write it off as business expense. By offering PayPal, you're making it more convenient for buyer.

yea thats true but you cant add anything if using paypal and thats that. whether your a merchant or a private party. people who say add 3% to the total are just getting more money out of the buyer when the buyer doesnt have to pay if using paypal.
most dont complain, and most dont know this so it is rarely ever brought up to the seller once auction is over/ or deal is done and yes will this change sellers on this board and ask to be paid with cash, moneyorder yea ofcoarse. im just stating what the facts are and not making this into an arguement and i hope thats not how i am coming across as doing. if the buyer wants to pay the extra % for convience thats fine its not my money or my problem. im just stating whats in the fine print because i know most do not know this about using paypal thats all.

I'm not trying to get into debate or anything. Personally, I have never had problem w/ paying the additional surcharge if it's my option. I do think it's wrong to make people pay 3% over purchase price if that's only method of payment offered. As also mentioned previously, you could always offer buyers "non-PayPal" discount, kind of like going to computer show & paying w/ cash. It's all matter of how it's worded.
